In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of sandbox games on the Android platform in France showcased interesting trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the dynamics of some of the most popular games in this category.

Roblox saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at over 84K by mid-September. Its weekly revenue also experienced a steady rise, reaching approximately $331.6K in early August. Active users remained robust, hovering around 2.7M throughout the quarter.

ZEPETO: Avatar, Connect & Live had a consistent download rate, with a slight peak at 16.1K in late July. Revenue showed a gradual decline from $12.6K to around $5.3K by the end of September. Active users started strong at over 231K but declined to about 172K by the quarter's end.

Minecraft Trial maintained its download numbers around 11K at the start but saw a decline to about 7.4K by September's end. The active user base also showed a downward trend, dropping from 75K to around 22K.

Block Craft 3D: Building Game experienced fluctuating downloads, peaking at 11.4K in the last week of September. Revenue was modest, with slight variations around $100. Active users showed a slight decline, from 35.7K to 22.2K.

OneState RP - Role Play Life had a varied performance, with downloads starting at 6.4K and dropping to 4.4K by the end of the quarter. Revenue peaked at $30.4K in early August, while active users saw fluctuations, ending at 15.5K.
